Fuck that had to do a lot of damage that came down hard. He made it 10 times worse by hitting the brakes... probably scared him shitless.

Berz out.

high power RWD is pretty useless too, needs AWD to lay it down

that why you need the wheelie bar

CanadaGoose

Whoa my gawwwd he slammed the brakes out of shock/reflex

GabAlmighty
10-04-2010, 09:41 PM
I wonder what kind of damage he did?

CanadaGoose
10-04-2010, 10:25 PM
Probably bent controls arms, mangled connectors where control arm connects to chassis, bottomed out suspension and cracked shock tower mounts, busted steering rack, pancaked the oil pan, bent the subframe, strained driveline mounts, probably messed up the alignment on some body panels like the hood...and a cracked rear bumper lol

Or maybe he got lucky and just hardcore poo'ed his pants, hard to say

By the looks of things they weren't expecting the car to able to do wheelies. AWD is nice and all but RWD is more fun :)

The pic they have at the end is pretty awesome!

Looks to me the power got laid down pretty well. AWD doesn't do jack when the front wheels are in the air.

AWD Wheelie? really? unless its something that adjusts according to what wheels need power and which that dont. I really doubt AWD wheelies are possible..

forward to :23 seconds (front wheels off ground)
and AWD is much better at putting down the power more evenly than rwd

Shit, better tell these guys they're doing it wrong then:

Which wheels are powered wheels doesn't really have much to do with popping wheelies. Wheelies are created by weight transfer and suspension tuning.

Even bad wheel hop in FWD is a kind of weak wheelie. It's just seriously unimpressive and cannot be sustained.

That Typhoon is no longer AWD. You need matching front and rear tire sizes for AWD drag racing. That truck had Drag Radials on the rear and skinny's on the front.

Berz out.

You can do anything with VTAK though.
