I love reading topics where religion tries to prove science wrong.

1) Let's not take a fast moving truck for example. Let's take a cruise ship (or any massive tanker/ship even the ferry going to vancouver island) travelling at 50 - 80 km/h. If you were inside or on the deck, and you jump, you will land on the same spot. Because the earth is so big, moving at 700 - 1000 mph to us feels like it's not even moving.

2) Who says australia is at the "bottom" of the earth? If you were in a spaceship looking at earth from outerspace and your spaceship is tilted so that the earth was upside down, this will defy this experiment as being wrong. From outerspace, there is no top or bottom.

3) This experiment mentions curvature. Because the earth is so massive, the point where the earth curves cannot be seen by the naked eye. Ok fine, the higher, you go, the farther you can see right? Than how come if you stand on the highest building in the world, using a 1,000,000x telescope, you cannot see china or "the farthest country" from us?

What you will begin to see is outerspace, even if you look straight ahead with your telescope on the highest building in the world. Which means that the earth curves.
