Some guys from MIT did something similar for only $150 in parts.
I would like to try it build one some day.

NASA would've spent 150 Million on a mission like this, using equipment worth 15 million and being faced with 2-3 launch delays that cost 1.5 million each.

that's awesome! I thought it would have landed in another state at least! Wonder what would happen if everyone in a city launched one at the exact same time! GG to some planes!
