For those that have been rear ended while stopped at a red light....how long did it take for any injuries to settle in? Whats the normal time to wait before you should see no adverse effects on your body?

During my accident, airbag deployed and seatbelt tightened up, as a result, my neck waist and ass was sore. I felt it the next day, it got even worse the day after. However, it only lasted a week or so but I workout 2-3 times a week and don't feel sore after workouts anymore because my body is so use to it. So it's different for everyone depending on your health and lifestyle too I guess. A hard rear end would affect a 70 yo probably more than a 30 yo.
