Hi I was wondering where are good and fair places to get an undercoating. And I'd also like your opinion on whether you feel that an undercoating is necessary if you're getting your own new car.

Thanks for all your input!

By the way, I know an exact same thread came out in 2007 but places may have change and what not and so on.

$80 is a good price. we charge $250 at our dealership.

I would only do it on my car if I'm going to be driving on any gravel roads at all. If i'm going to be doing 100% city only, I won't bother.

It really does insulate and reduce road noise on smaller cars (tin cans) I've noticed... especially if they are light on factory sound deadening.

(just make sure they only spray the body and not all over suspension parts that might need to be replaced/adjusted in the future..)

Is the undercoating recommended for low cars that might scrape if uncareful?

Or does it not help at all
