You can try Wilkonson's, they have a neat little store in Vancouver (by MEC). Their prices are usually cheaper than those rice shops (i.e. Metrotown).

However, I've found that Autoart models have gone up in price everywhere, so I think it's more of AA raising wholesale prices and not so much retail stores jacking up prices (w/ the exception of rice stores).

I work at a Cineplex Entertainment theatre ( they own / operate galaxy, cineplex, famous players, silver city etc.) and know exactly the cheese you're talking about. Last time I was shopping at costco i noticed that they were in fact selling this type of cheese sauce. It comes in a can about 4 litres in size with a blue labe on it. It is made by mexicasa and i can't remember the exact price but i believe it was somewhere between 12 and 16 dollars. hope that helps.

Dollar stores should have them. The home/kitchen hardware stores in Chinatown will definitely have them. Dunlevy Food equipment and Russell food equipment will also definitely have them, but pricier.

I was at the Willingdon Costco last week and couldn't believe my eyes. First grade canned sockeye salmon. Never seen it before in any domestic store let alone Costco. Always second or third grade Canadian or that Alaskan/USA stuff.

Half a pallet left, as of today. Make sure it does not have USA on the lid and that the can code ends with the letter "D" on the second line. First line is just the date code. You have to peel back the label they have covering the code.

I was at Costco in Abbotsford a couple of days ago and they did not have the first grade cans. Second grade only.

$6.99 for three tins. Not bad price. It could be a mistake, but who the hell cares? I guess this years abundance of sockeye had something to do with it. Ocean's brand sockeye salmon - don't get the pink salmon.

Are you sure you checked the battery chargers? The 9 volt part is usually hidden in there somewhere. They also make specific ones for 9 volt batteries. Costco had a Sanyo charger at one time and I'm pretty sure it had a 9 volt section.

Anyone know which grocery stores carry peanut-free peanut butter?
I kind of expect most large chains to carry this, but hoping for a reply here before I head out searching.

Is that like sunflower seed buter or almond butter ? Most places like choices or whole foods carry different nut butters.

I know all I need is only the mic/speaker splitter thingy but that item alone on amazon.com is 13-15 bucks + Shipping. So ~$20 just for the adapter that is not even gold plated.

I personally tried them (vent, skype, win voice rec) and they work flawlessly using x10i, stock apple headset, crossfade, beats tours, b&w p5 so i'm sure pretty much ALL iphone remote/mic would work too.

Since it came with a set of buds, decided to try it out on my iphone. I was very, very shocked at the quality of the bass from these budget no name buds, another added bonus is the mic has a single button which acts like an apple remote (pause/play, fwd, back) tested on 3g/4g touch, ipad and ip4. Gave them to my sis and she was so happy as it is so much better than her stock apple headset.
