basic security training

wheres a good place to get bst for cheap?

wanting to get a security guard job... im down and out and dont really have alot to spend and if all possible i would like the cheapest cost =/

Most places if you work for them will just take it a little bit at a time out of your cheque.

That said check Sensor Security Group. I've been out of the industry (used to work alongside them at a previous job) for a while, but I find them to be the most professional.

Paladin Security also covers the BST and First Aid but require you to stay employed with them for at least a year unless they have changed the rules from 2008

Some places would pay for the course for you if you can get hired on by them, but the hard part would be getting hired by a security company without a license. And there's a lot of people out there who curently have their licenses that still are unable to really find work.
