I've been to the home depots & Rona-type places...looking for somewhere else I can find wallpaper that's more original - I don't need mass quantities, just doing one wall.

Thanks!

Most paint stores don't stock wallpaper anymore but they still carry around catalogues from which you can order from.

theres a store in tinseltown on the 2nd floor called "Surface Collective" that offer "wall tattoos"

Not sure if you would be interested in that because its not wallpaper but they're pretty cool:

Thanks tweakynuts...I actually got a wall tattoo from them already! I need the wallpaper for the back of one of my bookcases - trying to make it stand out a bit...

You're welcome. Every person who's into home decor should be aware of Umbra. Unfortunately for us, they have a warehouse sale every year in Toronto which apparently is always a gong show (i.e. very good deals.)

You can find their products at a lot of boutique home stores like Urban Barn, Ming Wo/Motiv, but I have been lucky enough to come across them at regular stores like Homesense and London Drugs as well.

Try Örling & Wu (http://www.orlingandwu.com/default.htm) in Gastown. They have unique wallpapers for sure.

What are you looking for? My gf works at a textile wholesaler she could likely get you something for considerably cheaper and exactly what you want. The only thing is that they deal with interior designers and not the public but you could contact her directly and she could get it for you. Places like Orling and especially The Cross in Yaletown mark it up a ton, as they buy from them.

stuffs look nice on the web site, but what a shame every categories is "coming soon", I guess I got no choice but pay a personal visit sometime ...

I can't believe saying this in public ... but how can I hook up with your gf?

Orline & Wu is a fairly new store. I believe they opened up in the summer recently.
