| Japanese-made pornography causing concern in North Korea

The defector also mentioned that in the current North Korean black market, it is easy to obtain China made DVD players and DVD recorders. Since the foreign pornography is circulating in such a huge mass, as long a family has a DVD player, they would have 1 or 2 pornography DVDs.
Lastly, the defector added, “it is very difficult to watch foreign programs in North Korea, but many residents love to view foreign pornography and South Korean drama through DVD.”
