My motivation in photography is that i can take awesome creepy shots of little girls with my 18-300mm lens.

I know your trying to be funny, but in this day and age it isn't.

Back on topic though, I always see awesome pictures people take and i really enjoy being in the right place at the right time for that shot. Seeing natures beauty keeps me going. My dad used to have a shotgun to capture nature. Well i got that gun melted (i hate guns), and bought myself a 7D and a 500mm F4L. That was worth of the gun before being melted. I love nature and the world around it.

Seriously that was the cost of the gun? a 7D AND 500mm? way to parlay that into something more useful

For me, it's the fact I have a huge family (extended included), and we don't have many pictures all together. So I'm trying to remedy that.

In the beginning, it was pretty much like boost- being at the right place at the right time and capturing a "moment"

I think Mananetwork's signature says it all (per this post): http://www.revscene.net/forums/fashion-photographer-t407895.html?t=407895

But seriously... for me, it's just wanting to capture something I find visually appealing. I like to share my work, and I think everyone likes it when others appreciate their work, but I mostly just do it for myself.

I get a nice sense of accomplishment when I take a nice photo. And for me, I like documenting some of my travels and life... I found when I was younger, I didn't have a camera, so I didn't have many pictures to look back at. Now when I go on a trip, I like to take at least one memorable picture... I know that you can't always capture the moment well, but I know that I always appreciate a cool picture...
