In Taiwan (Danshui) they had one of those stuffed-animal (like the ones you'd see in a carnival with the robotic arm and joystick) machines, but it went over a tank full of crabs instead of a pile of stuffed toys. :lol Yes I have a photo, but it's on film.
Chinese ppl think of the darnedest business ideas. :D

That's pretty much one step beyond how they sell them normally, so I'm not that surprised by this... They usually store them in a refrigerator, all bundled up (but still alive) and someone grabs them with tongs for you.
