^ I found this one really interesting...
So if there were someone looking at us from the 4th dimension (time), could he tell what would happen to us in the future?

I found both these video's extremely interesting!

Nice way of getting this stuff out to the masses. Nice vids. Something to note is someone from the 4th dimension could easily break into and leave 3D jail cells, the same way, all you have to do is 'lift' someout of out of a 2D jail cell.

Since we are beings of a 3D world, we can easily understand how to fold up something that looks like this:
http://www.icteachers.co.uk/children/sats/images/3d_cube_net.gif

Someout of the 2D world would only see the Squares dissapear as it folded.

So, it is possible to 'fold up' this 3D cubes into a 4D cube... but how you visualize it, I'll leave it up to you.

Tbh Timeline was one of my favorites. My all time favorite has to be State of Fear. It deals with the religion of environmentalism, and the misinformation it spreads.

But Jurassic Park was really good (yes, way better than the movie) Anyway and Lost World was even better.

But one of his later books deals with quantum mechanics directly, including nano machines.

glad i'm not the only one haha, was going to solely comment on the title and skip the videos. then read the comments/reviews, was worth watching i guess, it's like an episode of magic school bus scaled into a short clip.

I love this stuff, thanks for the videos. The more you know, the easier it gets.
I remember reading Carl Sagans' (RIP) book called Cosmos. After understanding what he was trying to explain in his book, I just had to start thinking outside of the box.
What really gets me going is the String theory.

Carl Sagan is awesome, he definitely has the voice and charisma to explain this kind of stuff and make it more entertaining

as soon as i started watching his stuff though, im pretty sure Hugo Weaving got his inspiration of Agent Smith mannerism from him

We can't even imagine what a 4th dimension object would look like.
Just as at 2D flatlander could not represent a cube (3D object) in flat land.
Though, we can see a shadow of a 4th dimension object, just as a flat lander (2D) can see shadows of 3D objects...

pfffttt....matter are just waves of collapsed probabilty created solely by observing them. you can take it a step further and ask if this is true, then during the big bang who was there to observe the event to collapse the waves in the first place, in order to create the matter that makes up our world

her: majoring in physics?
me: no just casual reading
her: ????? :eek3:
me: actually, i'm not even in this class... i'm here to make your dreams come true :agree:
her::blush:
me: .... in the 11th dimension!

then i just whip out a pen and paper and frantically draw random shit + numbers while mumbling about how crunchy peanut butter is better than smooth because of x + y.

but no really, I bought his books.
