Besides big-box stores, does anyone know where to find a good selection of diecast cars?

try those Asian automobile shops in Metrotown. They sell overpriced die cast cars there.

always got mine at wilkinson's, another place might be magic box hobbies but I haven't been in years, they have a bunch of 1/18 auto arts

Wilkinson's has an amazing selection of 1/64, prices are reasonable good range IMO. I should go, haven't been in a while. They also have a lot of books/magazines

Did Wilkinsons jack up their prices or are AutoArts just a lot more expensive now?

When I used to collect 1:18 AA's a few years ago, almost all models were in the 80-90 range. Now they're like 120+.

^ Not really, Auto Art themselves raised the prices as "Materials got more expensive". If you go around town, you'll find that most AutoArt model prices have raised in price accordingly.

I've been looking for an 1:18 NA2 NSX-R in Championship White for a while now. Still no dice. Only one that comes close in quality and size is the red AutoArt NSX they recently released.

Automobilia has a good selection and they can order what ever you want. It is not as cheap as it used to be though.
