Who's been to the moonlight madness sale at the Seattle Premium Outlets?
I'm planning on going to the moonlight madness sale at the Premium outlets and I've never been there for that, I was just wondering if anyone can share any experiences they had down there, how busy it was, how early you had to go, and how busy the borders are. I don't want to go too early just because basically everything will be closed because of their Thanksgiving, but I don't want to miss out on deals and go too late. Anything you can share would be great! Thanks for the help in advance.

I'm assuming you're talking about Black Friday?
Yup, Black Friday, the Premium outlets are open at midnight

Basically it's crazy busy at midnight and crazy busy at 8am onwards. If you want to shop in peace, I recommend around 3am as the "hardcore" people have left but there is lots left to check out and with WAY shorter lines. I got there around 7 last year and it was just starting to get busy and by 8 or 830 it was crazy. Hope that helps.

i'm going down to washington square mall in Tigard, Oregon for black friday, planning on getting there Wednesday night. From what i heard line ups begin at 10am on the Thursday, and malls open at midnight on the Friday.
WTF, I understand people going all crazy for BestBuy and all the electronic shops, but going that early for the outlets? Damn

It's easy to drop $1k at Burberry as fast as Best Buy...
^^ or the TR and BOSS outlets

Damn, that's exactly where I wanted to go too. I just really wanted to go to the Burberry store and that's about it. Got a baby on the way and wanted to get it some Burberry clothes.
Anyone share any experiences with the Burberry store?

Actually although I'm not a huge Burberry whore, I have been downright unimpressed with their sale for the past 2 years that I've gone. They have a huge line outside and just havent seen that much stuff that was discounted that heavily. Disappointing imo.
Thanks for the input! Do they basically have a percentage off? or are they all in-store markdowns. Do you think it's even worth waiting for that sale? Because it sounds like a huge hassle
Not really racist!

I went two years ago, jeez christ it was a gong show filled with people
We ended up parking on the grass cause they're were no parking spots..
Is Seattle Premium your only option? Cause you'd have a better chance at malls I'd say Seattle Premium has gone down every since like five years agos..
Theres honestly nothing special about the Burberry Outlet there either
Wow, what time did you guys go. Parking on the grass is a little too crazy for me

If you're going just to check out the Burberry store I don't think it'd be worth it. Their selection is pretty disappointing and their prices were barely discounted. I think even with the sale you most likely won't find anything you'll like.
You could check it out though and head south about 30 mins and check out Bellevue Square, they've got a couple good stores there including a Burberry store.

Thanks, appreciate it, saved me a trip down. I'm pretty sure the Burberry store in Bellevue Square is going to be crazy expensive like the one in Vancouver. Well, I guess you should expect that when wearing a brand like that but don't feel like spending THAT much for something my baby will wear half a year.

Yea I went couple of years ago, regardless of what time you go its packed! Arrived around 2am-ish and the parking was difficult. All the big stores you have to line up to get inside then line up to purchase, depending on the store it may take 3+ hours just to buy something at one store.
Not really worth the time or effort.

most stores offer Pre-Black friday deals online to prevent the massive rush on the day. I know macys does.

I went last year with some friends.
It was the craziest thing i've ever done.
If you don't get there early, you will NOT find parking!
Solution.. Go to the casino and do Valet. It is free just be sure to tip the guy after =D
Unlike some stores in Vancouver, the stores in premiumoutlets do not restock during the night.
side note; if you want anything from Columbia be prepared to wait 90-120mins to checkout. I know because that's how long I waited to get some jackets and fleeces. Prices were really good though!

OMG - I'm never doing Black Friday shopping ever again.
Saw someone get trampled @ a Walmart for $10 DVD players one year.

Go to the cheaper shops first if you arrive early. Ie nike, adidas, ect.. so you get the cheapest stuff in your size cause later on when its busy too the nice and cheap stuff will be gone. Ture religion and burberry can wait lol. Highly recommend checking out levis cause they have nice jeans for lik 20-30$ :D know your sizes and rush directly at that section.. make sure you try everything out tho lol

waste of time and energy for mediocre deals on last years stuff
I'd rather pay slightly more to not have to deal with all the morons
the auntie ann store does hand out already stamped cards so you can get free pretzels and corn dogs XD

Went down last night at 11 and at work now. Man this is gonna be a long day. A lot of long lineups...I was suprised the lineup was longer to pay then to go to the fitting room at Kenneth Cole.

I'd exchange it up here. It'll probably be easier for you anyway.

all sorts of TR's, didn't bother lining up cus it seemed like an hour and a half wait.
I believe Boss took over Zoo York.

I thought Marc Ecko took over Zoo York last year?
surprised nobody got trampled to death :lol
went at like noon last year (didn't want to die like that person who died at walmart) and the place looked like it just went through a tornado

The TR's that I saw that were < 125 were all the normal stitching (non big, giant or super t). Best store I went to for jeans was the 7 store at bellvue square. 40% off everything at the retail store. So it's basically all their new stuff. The outlet just has the usual stuff but cheaper.

I got to the border at midnight and got back at 5pm. Both times I had 3 cars in front of me and didn't pay duty.
Got all my Chrismas shopping done, minus a gift for my GF - 1 shot.....done.
