Dear owner, your windows have been broken since halloween. car seems fine though. if anyone knows the owner.. please let him/her know.

*edit car was spotted in East Richmond.. should be towed by the police tonight or tomorrow though..

I don't have an account on that forum so can't post.. and yeah that's what the sticker says. If anyone has an account that forum, please feel free to post there.

I think the owner's probably on vacation too, but i felt bad just letting the car sit there.. i mean the broken glass needs to be taken care of and it's starting to rain, so i'm hoping the weather won't be damaging the interior.

I hope when the police tow it, they'll at least find something to cover the broken windows.

Unfortunately, it'll probably go to a tow yard, where the employees can (and will) pilage any valuables and leave it out in the rain. Then ICBC and the owner will have to deal with it.

I might have considered going into the glovebox, with a couple of neighbors present, to look at the name on the insurance papers and try to contact the owner directly.

^ suggested that to the cops when I called in, was advised actually not to touch the vehicle even though the driver's side was not damaged.

i'm hoping what you said won't actually happen, since i reported the incident because that's exactly what i didn't want to happen.

i hope this works out for the owner... i would be so choked to come home, find my car missing, find my car at a tow yard, find my windows broken, find my shit's been stolen, pay for storage fee, and deal with icbc for broken windows/theft. this would especially suck if the owner was just on vacation :(
