you mean to donate marrow? call canada blood services, they can help you out
if you're willing to do it, i'll give you props. i donate blood, but donating marrow seems scary.

Donating marrow is apparently excruciating, but if someone needed mine, I wouldn't be able to say no.

It does take some extraordinary courage to do what this man has done. More than most people I bet.
That said, its a good reminder to, at the very least, donate blood or fill out the organ donation box on your license when you renew.
Who is down for an RS blood donation meet/drive in December?

never donated bone marrow before but did a search up and it made me cringe, huge props to whoever is willing to do donate
In the case of a bone marrow transplant, the HSC (hematopoietic stem cell) are removed from a large bone of the donor, typically the pelvis, through a large needle that reaches the center of the bone. The technique is referred to as a bone marrow harvest and is performed under general anesthesia.

Thats right! We put it there!
With the help of Karen (Macadamia) and a few other key members, we got that sign put up on the board and since 2007, have potentially saved over 100 lives. Despite what others may think, Revscene members are strong and car a whole hell of a lot!
