Would have been better if Nate was on the Hook instead of Akon...its a solid track but too short. Im thinking Detox isnt going to live up to expections, I really hope I'm wrong tho.

Not bad, but definitely not a classic. I hope the album has an old school vibe to it, this song sounds modern and mainstream (Not good IMO).

Seems like every time a track gets leaked dre says fuck it and scraps the track and starts writing again. At this pace detox will never come out lol

Song is awful.

I listened to Still D.R.E. after. So much better.

Its obvious that people will always like old school rap artists older shit.

But comparing old artist to the "new" school rap artist today, they would have to adjust to the new generation of rap music.

To be fair, back when I used to listen to Dr.Dre circa-2000, it never really clicked. I didn't enjoy it as much as I do now. So maybe this Kush stuff will grow. Right now though, I find more things wrong with it than I'd like. That music video is an advertisement. Ciroq (sp?), Dodge, HP - I'm surprised I didn't see any Dre headphones...

The tune just seems like something haphazardly thrown together.

But hey, that's just me. Maybe i'm missing it entirely.

his headphones were in the vid lol
pretty good...yeah dont think it's fair to compare it to chronic 2001 songs just cause of how much the scene has changed...+1 to hoping for an old school vibe.

don't compare a whole album where you already know all the songs to one single
