heard on the radio there is light flurries in some parts of the island. Is it snowing in your area?

No snow in North Nanaimo rutherford (North town center) mall area.

Not light, its like heavy snow day up @ sfu... Kinda slowed down now... Coverred in 1-2inches of snow up here

Was intermittently trying to snow this afternoon near the water in the Hammond Bay area of Nanaimo. Still nothing falling behind Longwood Brewpub.

I'd like to thank the horrible Victoria drivers that decided to crash outside my office. luckily no injuries, but you provided my coworkers and I with entertainment all day. for the total of 9 vehicles that I saw go into the ditch, and of those, the 3 that made it over the fence and into the field, i say bravo!

I've just got my allseason potenza's on and the only sliding/spinning I did was in the parkinglot at school up the super steep hill.
Might chuck my winter tires on tomorrow though, the snow seems like a good indicator its time :p

I think the fact that its -15 once you take into account windchill might have something to do with that :p
