in the rain, power through a corner, if u feel the steering wheel tugging and pulling to one side, its FWD, if ur back end starts sliding out, its RWD, if its doing both, its AWD.

usually, if the engine is belts facing left or right AWD/FWD. Belts facing headlights RWD. But some cars are different audis are different for AWD I believe.

you need to jack up the car on 4 stands. then get in and put the car into drive and press the gas. then open the door and look down to see which wheels are spinning.


You also have to get on the other side as well to see if the passenger side wheel spins to make sure you have both sides working. If not, you only have a 1wd
