In China, a hotel security guard, named Chen Zhi, found a briefcase that was stuffed with $200 000 RMB and $90 000 HKD cash. He tried to find the contact number in the briefcase but it was not available. He returned the package to the hotel reception and alerted the police about the cash.

Mr. Wu, the original owner of the briefcase, realized he lost his cash and rushed back to the hotel. He found the briefcase and realized the none of his cash were taken. He recognized Chen Zhi's good deed and decided to give him several thousand cash as reward, but Chen rejected it.

Mr. Wu later repeated his monetary offer to Chen Zhi for several times, but it was all turned down. Wu mentioned that "I think this security guard has a very good personality, since I am an entrepreneur, I am hoping he will work for my company as a Security Team Leader. I can offer him higher salary and a free apartment."

Chen Zhi is a 40 year old security guard that is described to be quiet. Currently Chen Zhi is still deciding whether to accept the offer or not. Chen Zhi's current employer said they will allow him to change his job if he decided to work for Mr. Wu.

I don't think its the actions of individuals hes against but the policies and politics of the country itself.

I would have returned the cash, no question.

Would have I repeatedly refused the reward and only considered the better position, hell no.

Lets see in CDN terms - roughly

200/6 = 33K
90/7 = 12.8K

So thats, 45.8K.

Okay, now...who's taking and rolling out?

you know the cash is dirty money...

besides, anyone working in the security/law enforcement can not take "cash reward" as it maybe considered as a bribe...

There are so many fucked up, selfish human beings walking around this earth today. It's comforting to know that there are some people who are the complete opposite.

This guy would have unlimited good karma points if he played Fallout. LOL

Would have I repeatedly refused the reward and only considered the better position, hell no.

Well he wouldn't take "free money" but he would take a better job position probably. If you are going to work either way might as well get paid better. There's no karma rating deductions with that LOL.
