Don't know where to post this,
but there's a roadblock on Powell right where it joins with Cordova around Raymur ave. right now (11:00pm'ish)
Don't know if this is a weekly routine but traffic is backed up quite a bit so take another route!

Don't warn people about road blocks. Defeats the purpose of them.

I'm assuming you mean a drinking driving road block not a incident road block.

Me thinks he's trying to help people get home quicker and not get hung up in traffic????

You have a point, but then again we have a speed trap thread.
I'd rather warn people about roadblocks to save them the brutal hour of waiting to get through
rather than tell people to avoid speed traps and make them feel free to speed elsewhere

I listen to AM 730 quite a bit and although they report speed traps on a regular basis, they draw the line with road blocks.

they always have road blocks there. I was pumping gas at the Chevron there one night and I saw lots of cars getting pulled over and given the breathalizer.

So what I'm getting is speeding okay, drinking & driving is not.

So what I'm getting is speeding okay, drinking & driving is not.

going 60km/h in a 50km/h zone is speeding and the cop will give you a ticket if he wants.

I'd rather someone be going 60-70km/h sober as most people do this speed anyways than someone being drunk and going 50km/h.
