Has anyone ordered through cashbaq?
I ordered the book through cashbaq when it was $35 and got $8 back. It's pending until February though.
I've read that at the current price, you'll get $6-7 back if you order through cashbaq.
How does it work? You just click on the referral link from cashbaq and order through the link? Is it supposed to show up when you checkout?

Yes, click on the referral link from Cashbaq, and make your purchase. It won't show up in your cashbaq account until 2-3 days later. Then the money will be held for 120 days before you can actually "cash" it out.

The original Groupon
Order through cashbaq and skip the groupbuy
Order through cashbaq and skip the groupbuy
Was thinking of doing that.
After you click on the link... DO you just buy it?
Do you have to type in the transaction ID anywhere?
*found out
How do I shop at Cashbaq?
It's simple.
Go to Cashbaq.
Login to your account.
Find the store, product, or brand you want, and click over to that site.
Shop!
Your cash back will automatically be applied to your account. Once you reach $10 in earning (that’s only $5 more than the money we put in your account), you will receive payment from us in the form of a check or PayPal. Click here to change your payment preference.
Apparently you just order it through the link they give you - no need to type in anything extra.

I just remembered that I bought one last year from my neighbour's kid for some fund raising thing for her school and I didn't even open it, whoops. Oh well, I'll probably end up doing the same thing again this year, pretty much a donation I guess.

Time to donate the book to a single mom or some struggling college student. Although, quite a few struggling students are wasteful and don't know how to shop wisely or save.
I was going to say food bank, but someone working there will most likely snatch it up.

mmmm it never even occured to me about donating the books to charity, good idea. Every year I buy one for some school fund raiser and without fail every year I never use a single coupon. Thanks for the idea

November 2011. They release a new book every December.

I could be wrong, but I think they release the new book well before December... so for a few months, you can have overlapping books.

I disagree. There are very few limitations to the entertainment book and you know they expire next November (unlike some of these groupons which expire in a few months) and the only cash up front is $20!
There are tons of coupons and you don't have to wait. Plus if you are interested in restaurants sometimes it makes more sense to wait for the dine outs and such (which groupons are not good for)

I'm not too familiar with the types of deals the book has, and the website does a terrible job of explaining..all it does is show me places around my house that are in the book, not the type of deal.
Can someone outline a few of the coupons, before I buy a few?
TIA :)

Most of the restaurant coupons are buy 1 get one free, I usually pay this thing off using two of the pizza deals. A lot of 10-15% for certain things. You won't regret buying it.
