Surprised they let him in. It's a bit of a joke though, first Obama now Liu winning Nobel prizes, whatever that means now. Perhaps China should give a peace prize to Assange?

Let's not forget Al Gore.

The thing with Obama is, they voted before his term even started. Before he had the power to do anything for world peace. Now that he does have the power to pull troops out of the middle east, he can't get another award for it. You can only receive it once. What they've done is robbed Obama the opportunity to earn the award legitimately.

the staff probably assumed he was a part of the party they were having or since he had a camera they probably thought it was a media thing for the event they had "ohh ambassador the media is here to interview/congratulate you about tonights event"

pretty risky though if the guy felt like being a bitch he could have arrested the guy and his cameraman

For what? I know the embassy is considered Chinese soil but still.

Whats funny is that China blacked out CNN and BBC at 8 PM when the Nobel ceremony was starting. People in China can't to so stupid that they don't know somethings up.
