Hey guys, I'm in need of a place thats nice but is light on the wallet. Not really looking at really really fine dining just something about Reds, Boston Pizza, Cactus, Milestones (places I usually eat with the gf).

It's her bday tomorrow and her bro surprised her with Brian McKnight tickets and I wanted to take her out somewhere nice but my wallets kind of hurting as I wasn't really prepared for this lol. Already have something planned tomorrow and taking her somewhere a lot nicer for our anniversary in a couple weeks.

Kind of sucks for my wallet how everything happens all at once >.> my day then hers then xmas then anniversary lols.

Thanks in advance!

Find someone with an Entertainment Book and steal a coupon from it.

Q4 in Kits?

I went there with my gf a week ago with a live social coupon :D (20 bucks for 40 credit)

They have $10 pasta special monday+tuesdays (all pasta 10 bucks)

Place was pretty good, atmosphere was nice kinda cozzy with dim lights, for some reason when i went almost every table had a glass a wine.. (I can only assume the wines good there..? not much of a drinker myself), service was nice, you get some complimentary bread with olive oil+vinaigrette..

My bill came to about 55 tip+tax in
Included
- 2 Pasta's, 2 appys (crab cake + bocconcini /tomato/basil/vin)
(technically I paid 35 with the living social discount)

Btw we got the
-Pasta Quitro ? (it says italians only on it)
It tasted alright but if you dont liek the taste of roasted garlic I would pass because mine had this hint of roasted garlic taste throughout the whole dish..

-Fettucinne with some sort of cream sauce + shredded chicken?
Tasted good at the start but for some reason even though the pasta was coated with a light sauce. It tasted a bit dry after a while..

Basically if you go for 2 Pastas + 1 Appy -> it will run you 30bucks .. probably 40 after tax+tip. :)

Joeys has been pretty foolproof. (eventhough it's a chain) Every time I've went was awesome and I've been to all of them.

Or you can always go with entertainment book or groupon to save $$$

Les Faux Bourgeois is pretty good. Don't know much about French food though so can't say too much.
