Looks like it's going to be cloudy or raining. I'll be at Cypress with the 500mm f4 + 2x TC III if the sky is clear though.

if ur heading up cypress, make sure u head up before 9pm as they usually dont allow cars up after 9pm.

I've only tried taking shots of the moon at 700mm and its not too bad, would love to try to stake the 2x and the 1.4x with the 500mm on a crop! Uber reach! 2240mm of reach!

yup that's when the event starts but totality (when it's completely covered) is around midnight our time iirc. hopefully it clears up!
