Hi there

I got a new Xerox all in 1 printer and comes with USB and parallel connection. But the printer is like 20-25 feet away from the actual PC in the same room.

Do you think I can get a 20 feet IEEE-1284 cable to make the printer worker ?

Or is there anything I can do to make this printer to be able to connect to the Ethernet. (This printer does not come with Ethernet port though)

Please help me out ASAP and many thanks in advance.

edit: if you can find one for a decent price, you're much better off getting parallel, since usb print servers can have compatibility issues. this of course would only allow you to print to it, not fax/scan etc.
