I've made do with these cheapo plastic ones for long enough.
I'm looking for something with an actual black stone..

I've looked at a few jewelry shops and they sort of give me a :\ face when I ask.

Where can I haz?

You're looking for studs that are set with black onyx or hematite. Both are cheap stones and you'll probably find them set in either stainless steel or sterling silver.

Either stones are not common as earrings so it'll be hard for you to find a pair.

Ah, forgot I had made this thread.
I ended up finding a decent pair of black onyx square cut at Reid jewelers in Metrotown for about $15

However, not too long after that I ended up buying black diamonds
D'oh!

Diamond studs are the only way to roll
