Anyone have any connections with a local coachbuilder or a high quality tuner kit manufacturer/supplier (specializing in urethane and carbon fiber) here in Canada or US? Got a few investors lined up and interested in building a prototype based on one of my designs. I've contacted a few overseas suppliers but would rather manage this project in North America. If anyone can refer me, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Edit: Not looking for cheapass fibreglass kits from Asia.

If its that small I can get it printed out in 3d for you and wrapping it in real carbon shouldnt be too hard.

If you are really serious and have money to back you. You have to hire a private banking firm, eg Morgan Stanley, McKinsey and Co etc. The reason to hire them is they already have a research desk that specializes in collecting this kind of information.
eg. You supply them your needs (eg you need to make a die for a carbon fiber body panel for 30 cars). They will give you 10 suppliers + competing bids for die manufacturers worldwide that can make your negative mold and guarantee it will last for 30 presses within your specifications. The process cost a ton of pretty pennies, but you get the information and contacts right off the bat. You can move on to the next stage instead of begging for information on forums.

Thanks. I already know all that. Still looking for production in North America so it's easier to manage.

contact McKinsey.. AFAIK there are a few places in Kent that can do it.. also in Kansas (However their main business are wing spars). There aren't that many large (2m) autoclaves in North America that is available for small serial production.

Just because they have been featured on TV, doesn't mean they are good or can do serial production.
