Anyone know a good place or a recommendation of where to get them for an e92 bmw? Are the ones from bimmian any good? Also, I wouldn't know how to install them, not too much car knowledge on my behalf. has anyone done it and have any advice?
thanks

get the gp thunder h8 bulbs. a lot of local shops carry them. pop the hood, open a little cover and switch the bulb out on each side. took me less than 10 min.
new 2010 and 2011 come with led halo's.
should be an h8 bulb for the e90x

ya.. but pre 2008 comes with factory yellowish angel eyes..
the funny thing is i had this EXACT conversation a day ago. service advisor came in with tech asking "whats this????" it looked like a mini flashlight with a small silver tube ballast.
parts guy says "i donno, is that an HID? go ask shoei, he should know"
i get asked to take a look, it was a high powered wide angle, what looked like either a 1W or even a 3W led. this replaced the bulb that powers the halo's.
i called around, and sure enough, hidoutlet has these high powered led.
so if u really want to change them, u got 3 options, get a hid kit, get a led kit, or get a colored bulb to replace the stock one. majority are h8 HOWEVER, some bmw use a different bulb, dont know what size it is, but looks almost like a home tracklighting style bulb replacement.

Like mentioned, 2011 E92 has the blueish LED angel eyes and so does the new 5er. I've spotted a few new e92's on the road and I prefer the yellow angel eyes because the ones on the 2011 don't stand out and basically look like your xenon's are on hi-beam.
Also check out e90post, tons of posts and pictures on your subject.

Can't you just retrofit 2010+ headlights into your car? Yeah it's not the cheapest, but at least you maintain OEM reliability.

the headlight housing for the facelifted coupes are physically different. it can be retrofited, but will require new bumper and/or hood.

i think you fail to realize that OP simply needs to replace an h8 bulb under the hood to get white angel eyes. reliability has nothing to do with it lol.

Correct but the LED tails are plug and play, I had mine done last month.
