im looking for a good priced hot pot place in richmond or van before this monday (ya i know its a little bit tight im sorry about that) theres gonna be about 10 ppl, my grandma is not really a crazy eater so all you can eat is not really a big deal

criteria: need to not be so crowded, good prices ($30 for a person sound a little too much)

i have looked at:
chubby lamb 8391-alexandra road
cattle hot pot 8391-alexandra road
but im not sure if it fit my family, but nevertheless thanks for the RS help

Landmark Hotpot
On Cambie, near king ed.
I've never complained when I went there.
Mind you, I've never paid the bill either, not sure how much it is.

Garden City Hot Pot gets my vote.

Real hotpot will most likely be over $30.

It's for your grandma, get your family to spend a little more!

Garden city hot pot for me as well. Get the gold membership for $20 and you get 20% off the meal + $10 coupon for next visits.

The AYCE places you mentioned already cost around $25pp.

I went to garden city hotpot today around 8pm and saw jay chou!! Was right beside his table and he was wearing a backpack, toque to cover his face hahaha and a lot of cute Taiwanese chicks! So many security guards watching them eat LOL...

he left around 9 pm

Try So Hot So Pot

Its next to the old hot shots and hand carwash place on garden city. Good quality hot pot food there and all you can eat for liek $20.

+1, I usually go here. I go enough that the owner recognizes me, lol

For the decor, you might want to check out Posh Hotpot. Like the one in Burnaby. The menu selection is a lot smaller than most hotpot places.
