I haven't thought about this exact scenario, but one that I have been thinking about is that when you buy a deal, it could be completely legit... but say the voucher is valid for a year, but then the merchant closes shop eight months from now and you haven't used it yet... then what?

If the voucher you have expired, you can still use the voucher at the value that you purchased it at.

So if you got a voucher for $20 valued at $40, you can use it as a $20 voucher after it expires.

Signed up. Like the amusing looking drawings on the site, gives it character. Hope you guys find a way to differentiate yourselves from the millions of Groupon copycats.

Get yourselves on as many of those deal feeds as you can (ie dealradar.com), as that's how many people are viewing them now. Recently livingsocial has caught my eye for their "escapes", ie the recent Tofino special. Groupon really has no advantage over its competition other than its name recognition, it's really about what kind of deals you manage to procure. Hopefully it won't be spas for weeks on end because honestly...who goes to that many spas.

Initially the draw is scheduled to start on the 10th, but with the way things are going, it seems like we will be postponing it till the 17th. We are going to step it up and give more stuff away....
