I've had a problem with my eyes that i've only noticed recently. I have Strabismus, also known as being "cross eyed" but a mild variant of it. My eye doctor has pretty much told me it is incurable past the age of 7. I have heard of eye specialist that can help me through 'vision therapy'. I've had it all my life, but never really bothered me until I started noticing it in photos, etc.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had success with treatment, or even surgery or just learned to live with it..

I appreciate it.

Not really racist!

I've had surgery for this, kinda late right now so I can't dig up stuff, maybe I'll respond again tomorrow morning.

Lazy eye is easier to correct then cross eye I think. I have a lazy eye but it's very mild and mostly an issue when I'm tired (but it gives me massive head aches if I ignore it). Wearing glasses helps a lot (not contacts) because the eye naturally gravitates to the focal point on the glass and fixes there and doesn't tend to wander majorly while I have them on. I also had to do a wack load of muscle strengthening stuff on that eye when I was younger too though (I was older than 7, I think closer to 10/12).

If it's not giving you migraines and not effecting your ability to see it's probably not as bad as you think. If you wear contacts, but own glasses, try wearing them a bit more and see if that helps too.
