After much debate... it has come a time that I must let go of my beloved 1993 Audi S4. I have recently got a new job and there car policy states I must own a car less that 5 years old. I wish I could afford to keep this car as a weekend warrior but I do not have the space nor the resources to keep her. It has been maturly driven the past 4 years I have own her and kept her in tip-top mechanical shape. She has been a gem to drive with the assurance of Audi's proven Quattro all wheel drive as well as the venerable 2.2 litre inline 5 cylinder turbo engine which was used in the great rally days of Audi. It is rather stock with a few mods such as:
Reiger front bumper
18" Audi R8 replicas
Bunch of 034 goodies (Boost hoses, diverter valve etc)- 034 Motorsport is the premier supplier of quality aftermarket goods for these cars.
H&R/Bilstein suspension set up, perfect mix of handling and comfort!
It has just over 204,000 km which is very low for a car of this age. I have had numerous compliments and everyone commenting how it does NOT look like an 18 year old car.
Being an older Audi and in the interest of full disclosure I will divulge the following.
-The climate control pixels do not always work, purely cosmetic, it functions fine.
- Few light scratches on the driver side door, can be cut-polished out.
- Valve cover seal leaks a little bit of oil, very common issue with these cars, never been bad enough to warrent a replacement
- outside temperatue sensor does not work
- Will need a new ignition switch and strut mount (both $44 dollar parts from VM Autohaus and super easy to replace)
