Worked for me when I was using EDGE network but when I went back to 3G bbm wouldn't send nor txts. But yeh does happen every year massive bbm and txt msgs ftw!

I had to wait for about 10 seconds before a phone call would register, mind you, it depends on how loaded your cell site was for calls, (depending how many channels that tower supports) and for text, well... there's like <10 texting servers last time I checked... that's hella lotta bandwidth w/ overhead from the protocol itself.

Either way, no big surprise, I was at the casino last night for countdown, and hoooooly shit was there a lotta people for one tower.
