How can you not decide? Dell is a IPS, the Samsung is just a TFT. No brainer here.

yes I understand that IPS>TN panels but I was really looking for a monitor with with HD tv turner preferably LED backlit and HDMI ports. Also I know I can get a dvi to hdmi adapter but it's kind of a hassle too.

Actually scratch that, after reading reviews about that Samsung it seems it is really crappy

Yeah I know there are a few OTA channels, but I don't really mind it.
