Natural/Untreated leather belts

Have been looking around online for a new belt and stumbled upon a few companies that make custom belts with really heavy duty untreated leather. Some of the designers I came across are:
Corter
Kenton Sorenson
IronHeart
Unlucky
Makr
I love how most of the belts are made with at least 12oz leather and turn a deep brown colour after years of use. Most use nickel plated metal hardware and the buckles are removable by undoing Chicago screws.
After looking at most of the aforementioned brands, I think I'm going to go with a belt from Corter (single man operation that cuts his leather to your measurements) and belts start at $45. However, I'm wondering with untreated leather, what would I use to treat it so that it turns a deep brown colour? and are there any shops in Vancouver that sell different types of belt buckles?

With untreated leather, the best way for it to turn into a deep brown is sunlight. The more exposure it gets with sunlight, the darker the belt will get.
Or you can just get leather dye and dye it any shade of brown you like.

Nope, I wasn't sure about my belt size so i never got around to ordering one. I'm definitely going to order a belt and cardholder soon though. But their belts sometimes take like 5 weeks since their made to order unfortunately. I guess ill check out Mr. Lees like what bcrdukes said.

Call and ask whether there are any in stock before going to Mr. Lee's. Those hipsters have a weird way of doing business sometimes. :p

I saw his and he wears it pretty often... but I don't know if ironheart pre-treats their belts with oil already or not.

My wallet is from Unlucky. Good deal for quality handmade stuff.
Dayton boots specialize in leather & boot, give them a call and see what they can help you with.
I also recommend Unlucky. He is very nice :)
Another guy on Styleforum who makes wallets:

his are quite good too but price is steeper compared to Unlucky...
Not sure about Unlucky's price now.. a few years ago he charged me minimal for my wallet.. but his craftsmanship has probably improved and maybe charges more now?
