Blister from running?

I've increased my running speed from 6.5 to 7.5 (treadmill) and I've been getting a nasty blister on my right toe. I've switched my socks and it's made a slight difference, I also have a foot cream and spray from Gehwol which works ok. I was wonder if there's any other product that can help?

You could try a new pair of shoes? I used to run in Shox but I've found that mesh shoes feel a lot better. Get a pair that fits well so your feet don't feel like they're sliding around.

If your feet are sliding around, insert an insole.

type of socks you wear can also be the cause of your blisters

a good trick i use is .... i use a men's speedstick on my feet before putting on socks... it reduces sweat and friction... seems to work for me when i run anything more than 10k

So I picked up some Blistop and it's working wonders. It's almost completely burned off a nasty blister which I've had for months now.

if its just started happening and you've only done it a few times, theres always the chance your new running speed/technique has found a soft spot of skin. let the blisters heal completely and the skin will toughen up on that spot.
happens to me the start of every soccer season on my feet. and the start of every work season on my hands and feet.
