what case & psu is it on?
a lot of old pc has a case & psu that's worth more than all the other components combined.

Sell parts by parts you might be able to get $200 for it. But do you really want all the trouble?

^ It's a lot easier for me to use mac for my needs, as i am a graphic designer. I've tried getting this desktop to run mac but no luck.

It's always good to build your desktop from the ground up with OSX compatible hardware. Stay away from premanufactured systems. OSX86 forum has a lot of info.
