I have started to wear ties more often now since due to work.

However, every time I take off my tie, its usually wrinkled out

anyone know whats a good way to unwrinkle a tie?

on another note, are ties usually like this? or is it the way i tie it? ><

maybe u tie it too tight? ive never really had an issue with my ties, then again maybe it depends on the material of the tie.

which knot are you tying?
i've been using single windsor for the past x years, they're fairly un-wrinkled, sometimes i use the iron really quickly and it usually fixes it

I use the 4 in hand. I wonder which version gives you the fattest knot.

When you take off your tie do you pull randomly into its off? cause if it do that wears/ruins your ties faster... (very common to do that though)

its also probably because of the way you tie it.. there are a lot of ways to tie your tie.. some ways involve more knots/twists/turns which will of course wrinkle your tie more.. :P

yeah I do pull it randomly soemtimes ><

its either double windsor or the 4 point one that I normally tie.

So is it good to follow cho mentioned? ie iron it out quickly?

Quick iron will do wonders.. or using something like the tobee (a steamer) will work as well

Buy a tie using quality organic materials.

store the tie rolled up nicely, don't leave it knotted up.

you can try putting a semi damp cloth over it, and ironing the cloth so the iron isnt directly pressed against the tie, ive never done this nor do i know if it works, lol don't quote me and if your tie gets fucked don't blame me :P

Depends on the environment...but wrinkles are cool. Embrace the wrinkles.

Like Ulic said, when you take the tie off, roll it up and store it. That helps with the wrinkles.

^yup...
Don't tie it too tight or leave the knot in for too long
