Recently just changed over to Wind mobile....

help me choose from the following phones:
Samsung Google Nexus S
T-mobile MyTouch HD
Blackberry 9780

I'm used to using a blackberry but I kind of want to try Android (could someone enlighten me on the benefits of Android??)

i think bb 9780 doesnt support wind/mobilicity frequency. my choice would be the nexus s just because, if you get the data its easier to browse around

edit: nvm they do have it now lol

Wind will be releasing the AWS version of the 9780 as soon as the end of the week

Go with NexusS, easiest to modify and has the most support after the MyTouch
NexusS comes with 2.3, where as the myTouch you can root it to load 2.3

Just out of curiosity, is the nexus S full of bugs, glitches, problems as seen with GalaxyS?

All that's been fixed up
Im lead to believe that samsung didn't know what to do with the SDK and thus had shitty dev to work with the hardware

NexusS is fully the work of google
NexusS will be the first to get ICECREAM in the summer as well

Android?

Customizable
Mostly open platform unless your phone maker or carrier decide to lock it down (in that case, see point #1, then you just unlock it yourself)
Massive community support
backed by google, pretty seamless integration with google services such as maps, nav, gmail etc...

Let me put it this way,

If:

you are are a gmail user (or above), get android.
you are hotmail user, then you are kind of borderline.
you are yahoo or worse, get an iphone

If your company bought you a smartphone and pays for you plan, then you'd already be stuck with rogers, bell or telus and on a blackberry.

Is that clear enough for you?
