Attempted Theft tonight, Need help from Revscene members

Hi everyone
Well, the unfortunate finally happened to us tonight. we had a break in, in the Type R approximately at 1 am. The thief broke the lower steering column panel and the ignition but they didnt get the car.
Me and my brother came out in time and found the perp breaking into our neighbors car and confronted him face to face and had a stand down with him. unfortunately we didnt have anything handy in our hand but he did. He pulled out either a screw driver or knife to get us to back down.
after we backed down he ran to his getaway car. we have a description of the car and have filed a police report and gave our statement.
Right now I am asking revscene for help in finding the getaway car and getting me information on its whereabouts.
The car in question is a 92ish Black Honda Accord Coupe with Surrey Special Chrome rims , a fart can and possible Altezza's.
I didnt see the driver but the thief that was doing the damage looked eastern european about 5'8 tall and kind of chubby.
the car looks like this but black with chrome rims

I ran inside the house to grab the bat but by that time, e40six told me to get the car to chase after them.
We jumped into the silverado, but they had a good head start already :fuuuuu:
We lost them, we assumed they jumped onto the highway since we live pretty close to a hwy onramp

You must be kidding me, I saw that exact car description with 2 people yesterday after badminton around 10pm. First spotted driving by cambie community center, then no 6, then hwy 91 eastbound gunning it. It was weird, I caught up and they just quietly drove slowly on their way. They never exited the queensborough/new west way as I never saw them after that.
All I can tell u other than that is that the car I saw was pretty loud and they know how to rematch downshift. Who knows if it was the same car.

Hey Justin, like ed said. thats most likely them. They had a really loud exhaust on the car and it was 2 guys in it.
It would be great if anyone else sees this to remember their plate number and to PM either me or truong. We will be forwarding the plate to the police to see what they can do for us.
We're not upset that they broke into the car, we're more pissed at the fact that we let this fags go cause we were so close to beating them down.

OP's post said it happened around 1am though, so if you spotted them around 10pm, it'd seem like they left richmond and came back later at night. maybe went earlier to check some areas and stuff?
or did you spot them 3 seperate times, since you wrote spotted ____, then ____, then _____
either way, shouldn't be too hard to find. loud cars stand out enough on their own (even in a place like richmond), a riced out accord should make things even easier. i'll keep my eye out, best of luck OP

That's why I keep a regulator by the door. Never leave the house without a weapon when confronting suspicious people. Worst comes to worse a well placed shot to the A pillar = write off to most cars. You tell ICBC what you did and they wait for someone to make a claim cuz it's hard as hell to fix.

I should have said that I first spotted them and then followed them along that route for a bit as I was heading home. If it was them, that definately looks like the shopping list run, and the 1am could be the crime time. Sounds like the 7:30am auto mall sightings could hold some fruit. RS stake out?

I say cruise by the Richmond automall one morning, maybe a tuesday, probably around 9am. Do it early enough that everyone should have already showed up for work, yet too early to drive off for a coffee break. You should get a good scope of all the employee cars in that area.
Or go at 7am since that is when hopalong notice a potential suspect. :eek5x:
If you see the car, write down the plates, leave it up to the cops to see if its the right guy.

If it's Brown with Black bumpers, and it's like REALLY Loud..
There's a similar guy like that down the block from me.
He comes by once in a while to pick up the Native guy Neighbour down the block.
I haven't seen it around lately, but I've also seen his car parked a few blocks away. Maybe he lives there? I don't know.
Always rips it up the block and revmatches for no reason.
Did the passenger look like a fat Native guy?

Are you sure its him? The one with single piece headlights? That car is dark brown and is a white guy driving it. If I recall correctly he's got a huge exhaust, its lowered, not on chromes and with some drift charm dangly thing on his rear tow hook.
Unless you're talking about one thats similar to the one OP is talking about which is a lighter brown?

Very true. I always keep a bat close to my bed, along with one of those big, long ass maglites. They're awesome, because the light comes in handy at night (duh) when you're checkin' shit out, but also can inflict some decent damage.
My Dad used to always call me a pussy for keeping a weapon near by, but he doesn't understand that it's not the 70's anymore, and that car theives rarely seem to roll alone these days.
