Gucci Mane's latest tattoo — an ice cream cone with three scoops and the word "brrr" across the left side of his face — has appeared all over the internet today. For the most part, people seem shocked and confused by the rapper's unusual decision, and some have questioned whether his recent stay in a mental health facility was a bit too brief. After all, the tattoo is rather extreme in its prominence, even for a guy whose body is mostly covered in ink and already had a few facial tattoos.

So what does the ice cream cone mean? According to Gucci's spokesperson Kali Bowyer, the image is "a reminder to fans of how he chooses to live his life. Cool as ice. As in 'I'm so icy, I'll make ya say Brr.'" Bowyer tells Rolling Stone that the ice cream cone design was also used for a medallion that Gucci has worn for years and can be seen in most of the photos making the rounds on the internet today.

i dont go to clubs where they play his music, i dont listen to the radio, i dont have friends that listen to him, and im pretty sure i wouldnt recognize any of his songs.

Is it good music for clubbing/partying/driving? Yes. Is it good music as a whole? No.

I've got his latest cd on my ipod and it sucks. Other than Gucci Time and another all the songs were terrible. I wasn't expecting great quality music when I d/l'd it but music which sounds good and I'll play while I drive. He's just one of those rappers who in 5 years people won't remember.

Not saying whether Gucci Mane is good music or not, since I am not familiar with rap and what quantifies 'good' rap.

However, arguing whether it's good or not is wasted energy IMHO. People enjoy it, so let them. People can have good taste and listen to "good" music but still enjoy listening to "bad" music. At the same time, people can have bad taste, and listen to the same "bad" music, but THINK it's good.

In the latter case, it doesn't affect you, so why bother pointlessly trying to convince people otherwise, especially since all it does is make people think you're a dick.

Seeing the people argue in this thread is gold. Good or bad music all comes down to preference. If you don't like Gucci then don't listen to him. I'm a fan of gucci's. Is he the best rapper? no, but does his music entertain me? yes. Thats good enough for me.

Is it good music for clubbing/partying/driving? Yes. Is it good music as a whole? No.

I've got his latest cd on my ipod and it sucks. Other than Gucci Time and another all the songs were terrible. I wasn't expecting great quality music when I d/l'd it but music which sounds good and I'll play while I drive. He's just one of those rappers who in 5 years people won't remember.
