Sorry to piss on the parade but...

Assuming we can laughably accept this story as a potential reality. Yes you are the only one for the following reasons; The boy might have died from the original headfirst fall down the hatch onto the steel girders and whatever other sharp industrial objects reside there. And how exactly do you think letting the 5 million ton locomotive pile into the section of the bridge the boy is trapped in equals saving your son? Also the father is a complete idiot for teaching the boy how the emergency release works or where it is in the first place. I am not a train expert, but I imagine everything in that video is a complete fabrication. As in, there is no hatch you have to dangle your body over to reach some emergency lever.

That said, there is a reason these videos appeal to the broad spectrum of morons in this world, and that's because they are willing to forgo basic logic in favor of emotions. They would prefer to accept the reality they are presented with instead of asking questions.

Yes, the video was powerful, but when you apply a little logic to it, its just a bunch of bullshit. Does he not have a train schedule? How did that scheduled train get so far ahead of schedule? Why didn't the boy run into the control booth and drop the bridge from there? Why is the control booth located on the bank hundreds of meters from the bridge it controls?

BTW when the fuk is that video supposed to take place? I don't even think the producers know. Half of it seemed like it was prior to the Hindenburg maiden voyage, then some chic is cooking down with a lighter and spoon. WTF.

Lets start with what is completely wrong with this video.

1) Radio. Fucking use it and tell the train to dump the air and send the brakes into emergency.
2) Conductor and Engineer had an approach signal, followed by a stop. Their fault. They also should have seen the bridge was up and attempted to stop.
3) What the fuck is this? Take your kid to work year? Shouldn't he be in school, or you know, not around heavy equipment?

I understand what he's saying about the relationship between father and son as well. I agree I'd chose my son over a train of strangers everytime. I really don't think that was the message of this video though. The video, bridge operator, son and train full of people were all a metaphor for Christ.
