I didn't ask for anyone to hold my hand. What I'm saying is, if the illuminati does exist, then why haven't they used their power and influence to enslave the world? That's a rhetorical situation though. People generally don't take large loans from individuals. And not only that, you are talking of extremes. So if I miss a payment on my phone bill, does the telephone company get to enslave me?

To understand why the news is presented in a certain way, as well as why certain news makes it big yet others don't, you need to examine who owns the media companies.

One of the biggest examples in the sociology class I took was of MSNBC (this was actually a case study in the Sociology textbook). It examined how news on the Iraq 1 war was presented, and MSNBC clearly showed far less of the bombings and worded the incidents more gently than the other news stations during that same period about the same events - why? Because NBC was purchased by RCA, which was in turn owned by General Electric, of whose main business isn't making your microwave etc, but investment banking/financing (financing corporate ventures etc), heavy machinery (e.g. dam turbines), but finally -- missile propulsion systems!

I won't go into much other details, but the other massive thing you all need to read about, is what President Eisenhower talked about in his leaving speech from the 1960s? -- he said his greatest fear was that the USA was falling victim to a Military Industrial Complex -- where the state was trapped in a cycle of justifying war to create justification for heavy industry and research. There are also many studies that suggest that war is, without a doubt, the easiest way to jump start a nation's economy.

Finally, sociologists also believe that we are currently entrapped into what is known as the Medical Industrial Complex.

LONDON — A nurse involved in a prank telephone call seeking information about the Duchess of Cambridge has died, King Edward VII hospital said Friday.

The hospital said Jacintha Saldanha had been a victim of the call made by two Australian radio disc jockeys, who impersonated Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles to elicit information on the Duchess. Saldanha had transferred the call to the nurse caring for the duchess.

“Our thoughts and deepest sympathies at this time are with her family and friends,” said John Lofthouse, the hospital’s chief executive said in a statement. “Everyone is shocked by the loss of a much loved and valued colleague.”

St. James’s Palace expressed sadness at the death of Saldanha, who was found dead early Friday. Police say her death is unexplained.

The Duchess of Cambridge, the former Kate Middleton, had been in the hospital for acute morning sickness. The prank phone call took place early Tuesday and the two radio personalities apologized the following day.

Saldanha had worked at the hospital for more than four years.

One of the things that annoys me about articles is when they ask questions in an accusatory manner. "What happened to X person? Why don't we hear more about him? What's his whole story? Were the police even interviewing him? does he own any weapons?"

These things imply that the questions have already been answered in a way that shows proof for the conspiracy without actually having any evidence. It reminds me very much about the 9/11 conspiracy videos:

It is an excellent, but I expect not pertinent question. If I were to guess it was a person who was at first suspected of being involved because of the clothing and where he was. Police and media reports rarely focus on people once they are no longer suspects.

On top of all this, the Batman shootings have a witness that says someone opened the door for the masked shooter and another witness says, these accounts are on video, that a gas canister was thrown from the back and the front of the theater before the shootings.

Absolutely it is one of the most tragic shootings in Recent American history. I'm pretty sure Napalm bombings in Vietnam and the like are pretty horrific too.

That having been said, the pace of reporting is always extremely fast when an event is first occurring--and now, as the song says "the waiting is the hardest part". Now comes the boring stuff, where we start to pick up the pieces. Interview people. Take measurements. And these things take time. Remember that most of the witnesses were children and parents (some of whom moved specifically to this community for its safety--there's been one murder there in the last ten years) would naturally be overprotective and cautious. Investigations take time, and I can very easily understand how the police and officials would not want to release daily reports.

So the other day I saw a guy walking from to the Willingdon Costco in camo pants and a camo shirt. He was an old Chinese guy and I didn't see if he'd come from a car or from the condo developments just up the street and walked across the empty lots. Again, I don't have the answers here. That was honestly one of the thigns that confused me too. But I'm waiting to see what happens and maybe we'll get it all figured out in a few months' time.
