My first car (also an early 90s) got stolen 4 times before I got rid of it in 2008. If you're buddy gets it back and is going to keep it, he should install an immobilizer, they're WAY WAY too easy to get into and take off with quickly and they get targeted because the newer cars are more difficult to nab quickly.

Words like Epic, QQ, GG, are all so overused... Who would go to a shop named Epic Auto anyways

Either way, i'll keep my eyes out in BBY/RMD for u

Did they accidentally leave the car unlocked? They stil have the keys, right? Any responsible shop will leave their customers cars inside their garage to prevent stuff like this...

It's that Red Civic again?

I remember calling you about seeing this car [with smashed A-pillar] driven by some southeast asians on Broadway back in the summer.

Unless the shop is really small or was really busy, cars should never be left outside. I believe it will go against the shop insurance aswell

Most Garage policies allow you to have cars out of the shop during the day (when the store is opened) but require you to have the car inside the shop when it's closed.

OP, if your car was in their care you should speak to ICBC as Epic's Garage Policy may cover theft.

Epic Autosports sucks fucking balls. Plain and simple.
I paid them to do a motor swap on my Integra for my parents and there's random shit unbolting itself from vibration such as my distributor, random coolant everywhere etc etc
it was about half a year ago too
I'll keep an eye out in Surrey for it though.

Isn't it the shops responsibility at this point? Since keys were technically with them when it happened? Sounds like epic has no insurance.
