Why was the Zip Disk on that list? lol.
Zip Disk was on the Best *and* Worst lists :)
When 4X CD-R drives were $500+ and the blank disks were $5+ *each*, and nobody had even thought of flash thumb-drives, Zip Disks were DA SHIT.

Still have it, along with two or so dozen disks. Remember Jazz drives? Ah, the good ol' days........... computer swap meets at McPherson Convention Centre.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (2001) on the list of losers? Hell no! I stuck with it until the bitter end... until many sites would no longer work with it. It used way less resources than the current IE8, which leaks memory like crazy.

I totally remember how excited I was to get my first 3dfx voodoo 3. Made the lights in Quake 2 dazzle with colour! :DBaller. I remember my dad caving and buying me a $460 Voodoo2 in 1996, with the promise I had to use it for 5 years. I used it for 6. :D Still keep it in a box under my bed.
Also remember the day he bought me a SB16 (my 1st sound card) in 1993, that thing was like $280 in this store (anybody remember Egghead Software? :D) in Oregon iirc.
Unreal (original), Quake 2, Jedi Knight, and NFS5 Porsche Unleashed ftw. :D
