only cooking show on tv that I'll be watching...! :fullofwin:

And bacon strips, and bacon strips, and bacon strips!

YouTube phenom Epic Meal Time has signed with some major Hollywood talent reps and is shopping its own extreme cooking TV show to several interested networks.

For those who haven’t yet stumbled upon their channel, Harley Morenstein, Sterling Toth, and friends, along with producing partner Evan Rimer, create culinary masterpieces of heart-stopping high-caloric insanity. Then eat them. (Video below).

The Canadian outfit has clocked more than 20 million page views and were snatched up by The Gersh Agency and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Check out this one sample from Thanksgiving below, and see their channel for more. Their show must be better than watching Bobby Flay, right?

Vegetarians, brace yourselves (and you might want to dial up the video quality using the drop-down tab marked “240p” so you can see all the meaty goodness):

I can't see how this show will be successful. There's only so many times you can put a shitload of bacon on top of other types of food before it gets old. I think they're nearly at that point already. Ahh well, I imagine they'll figure out some ways to change it up a bit.

I agree.
The clips as they are right now won't last one season on network television. At best, they'll be pushed to late night hours.

Epic Meal Time will probably get a mid-season replacement slot, run for 13 eps at a half hour each, for one season only. I really don't see any longevity for a YouTube-inspired niche show.

It'll be another Pure Pwnage. Fun on the web, not so fun on TV

some guy i know knows the guy with hick glasses in the Angry American video? says he's always calling in sick because of the show

They'll fit best on SpikeTV

Well I think they will be successful if they exploit every type of cuisine lol

They'll make some money off of it, then disappear.

Or 'surrender' to the fact that it's something difficult to make into a TV show. /bad French joke

bacon + loud talking guy + high calorie count = just not funny after the first time.

if they didnt have chicks eating it after it would be completely unworthy of watching
