If you know anything about LV then the bag itself, datecode and stamp makes it very obvious. May I ask how am I supposed to provide proof of authenticity if I bought this 10 years ago and don't have the receipt anymore? I've sold many LV things on this forum and I've never been ask to provide proof. If the buyer wants to buy it, he or she will have their own ways of authenticating it.

I understand it's part of the regulation. However, not everyone keeps their receipt for 10 years because they think they will sell it one day. Delete this post if you wish, people who really knows and owns LV items it will be obvious to them.

Besides, you are not a forum that specializes in designer name brands like PurseForum or authenticforum.com with expert moderators so you have no way of regulating anything.

No I don't know anything about LV. How you want to provide proof of authenticity is up to you. Maybe not by receipt but I'm sure there are other methods of providing this.

No we're not a forum that specializes in designer products, but our way of regulating things are stated in the rules for the specific buy&sell forum. Like those rules say failure to comply will result in your thread being closed, and possibly receiving points.

Like I said early, 24 hours to provide it or thread will be closed.
