Biscuits are supposed to be on the dry side. At least they're crunchy.

Went to two of them this morning. You know........ gotta try the different types. Saved the other for lunch.

Good thing they're free, 'cause I wouldn't pay for them. I bet they sold a lot of coffee with it.

A separate thread just for this........... only on RS. LOL.

It has been posted elsewhere in a couple of other RS threads. Anyway.

Location at 16th & Arbutus doesn't have them.

Apparently they don't have the equipment to make them... watch them be available all of a sudden on Friday.

Walnut Grove - nobody there at 7:30 am.

Clearbrook - two people in line up and 35 seniors sitting around like crows on an East End lawn.

Not enough Asians in those areas. LOL.

it often amazes me how far people would go to save $2....and it is usually on something they wouldn't even want or pay for in the first place.

It was alright. Drive-thru'd it on the way to school this morning, no lines. I'll be going back tomorrow to try the other one.

got one this morning around 8am @ Boundary Rd. location.

Line up wasn't too bad, 4 people in front of me. There were a lot more cars lining up at the drive thru than walk-in counter. Got the Sausage one with sm. coffee. I like the ones at Tim's better, and I rather have an sausage Egg McMuffin instead, I like the whole cracked egg instead of the liquid egg. Oh wells. Its Free. I'll head back tmr morning again on the way to work for another!

How can people not? There are people getting paid big bucks at McDonalds Headquarters to engineer these kind of offers, all while keeping it profitable in the bigger picture - nothing is truly free right? :D It builds customer awareness to the nearest locations, etc. it's like luring ants lol

when does mcdicks ever sit well in your stomach??

June 17th, 2004: Grabbed a big mac at the Main and Terminal mcdonalds at aproximately 8:54 PM. Sat well in my stomach and was fully digested. No signs of unusual bowel movement following consumption of said product.

Tomorrow I go again. This time, I eat the insides and feed the rest to the birds. Only problem is, I might get charged with animal cruelty.

so buttery...eh not bad for being free...all the senior asians on 41st and Victoria didn't mind when there was a line up all the way back to Tea Works ROFL.

Maybe get one tomorrow, but sucks how they ask you "how many people in your car -.-

its so freaking oily... i had to drink 2L of water just to get past the oil after taste in my mouth after eating that. i should have done what 89blk did and ate only the insides and dumped the biscuit itself

MG1
02-10-2011, 02:36 AM
No dumping of biscuit........ feed birds. Nothing goes to waste.

The sandwich I kept for lunch soaked the bag it was in with grease and the wrapper was disintegrating, LOL.

Are the wrappers biodegradable?

Holy carp, it was crowded today. Almost late for work. Anyway, today's biscuits were actually good. Very crispy and filling. Still wouldn't pay for them.

Can't complain when it is free.

They accidentally put 2 sausages in mine.
2 fatty sausages, fried egg, oily processed cheese, and a buttery rich biscuit/bread made it really fattening.

I went and got one today! :p

Pender & Abbott location... probably the sketchiest McDonald's in town. Half the lineup were homeless folks, and several looked to be druggies.

But was in and out in under five minutes.

Overall, thought it wasn't bad... definitely feels more filling than a McMuffin.

I think I still prefer the classic McMuffin, but I wouldn't be adverse to getting the Biscuit from time to time.

I never liked the McGriddle...

Got one earlier at Cedar Hills Mcds, drive thru wait was about 3mins. It was so damn greasy but it filled me up so no complaints especially when it was free :D

I agree it's more filling than a Sausage McMuffin w/ egg. Tastes pretty good but I found the biscuit a bit on the dry side. Next time I get one, I'm going to try it with a McMuffin egg (real, not from a carton) and see how it is.

........from all the water and juice I drank to make up for its salty + dryness.

I paid for mine on Sunday before hearing any news of freebies. By the time I got home the wax paper was soaked with grease and when I was eating it I noticed the grease made the paper so soggy that it tore straight through.

Mcgriddles > biscuit
seriously I like mcgriddles

I actually didn't have a problem with it.

I was able to eat the whole thing without a beverage, and was fine even afterwards and didn't get my usual coffee at work until an hour later.

It's been 7 hours since I ate it, and that's been the only thing I've had all day... and I'm still not feeling hungry yet.

Wow.

Should have an express line and a cheapskate line.
Because I didn't feel like waiting so long in the morning to get my coffee, so I ended up
not getting coffee from McD's yesterday and today.

you guys are idiots . buttermilk biscuits are made with alot for lard and butter and are suppose to be fluffy and crumbly..there not suppose to taste like english muffins..

i actually thought they were good.

i wonder if they can make it with chicken instead of eggs
