: facebook help needed

so someone's facebook fan page is not theirs, and i wanna give it back to it's rightful owner, cause she wants to update it herself, she'll even share the password with whoever created it.

i already contacted facebook but they said they'll just delete the account, but all i want is to somehow get in contact with the person who created the fan page so i could purchase it off him or something.

does anyone know how to contact this guy? facebook will not give me any contact details.

yea either that or maybe create a new fan page and post on that wall stating that the new one is the official fan page?

Who cares, why not just have your friend create an official fan page run by her then. A lot of my friends and clients have fan pages on Facebook that have no official association with themselves or their management teams in addition to their own official fan page run by themselves or their teams.

I think the OP doesn't want to lose the fans the original page has.


i don't think there is anyway to get the information.
you have to just post on the wall and hope the original creator see's it.

^but if u post the link of the real fan page in the fake one...im sure ppl are gonna start catching up and switch over if they see constant updates from the real one....

believe me, i've stressed it to her to just make a new page, BUT

it's cause this page has over 90,000 LIKES, a feat no other Vietnamese star has, the closest celebrity to her has only like 35,000 LIKES, and people aren't gonna go through the hassle of LIKING the new page when they've already liked the first one.

it's not a big deal, but it'd make her really happy..
